Body diameter: 28 cm, neck diameter: 12 cm. Dressel 1b type wine amphora manufactured until the end of the 1st century BC for transporting wine between Italy and Gaul and even throughout the Roman world. It was a large bottle that was used only once and was manufactured in Etruria and Campania. These amphorae were molded around a core of coiled rope that was removed at the end of the manufacturing process.
